How to remove mold from fabrics

There are several methods to reach its total elimination and, of course, in the case of fabrics (more or less delicate), will need to take the right precautions depending on the type. By following this guide, you can simplify your task.

Requirement: Perborate, Coarse salt, and salt, Washing powder, Lemon, Vinegar, Marseille soap, Hydrogen peroxide.

The mold spots affect both tissues as shoes, especially leather. If you are stained with mold shoes using a cloth, soak in vinegar and rub the same, gaining weight later with a colorless cream.

On cotton, garments can put in a warm-water bowl and pour in a little perborate. Then wash with regular detergent and rinse with water and lemon. For wool, signing should treat the head with water and a few drops of ammonia.

In any case, you should use specific treatments that consider the color of the fabric itself so that the stain will not affect it. If you’re dealing with colored fabrics, scatter salt (of course, in direct contact with mold).

Get the Marseille soap and dampen it (not excessively), then going to rub the salt, and then on the spot. Once rubbed for good, let everything dry (without rinsing), and the day after doing the normal washing.

With white fabrics, you can behave differently depending on whether the head’s volume is small or not. In the case of one head, poured on water stain peroxide (12 volumes) so that it is thoroughly soaked.

Close the head in a plastic bag for one day, then normally washed at high temperatures (the maximum for that tissue).

If the heads are so many, or the volume is not in an envelope, fill a bowl with hot water exclusively, the inside of coarse salt (4 tablespoons), and hydrogen peroxide (100 ml in the measurement for four liters).

Cover with the plastic film so the bowl and leave for one day. As before, performs washing.

Never forget: If you are the only struggling with the smell of mildew, dissolve in a glass of vinegar 3 liters of water, and he leaves the fabric overnight, then washing as normal.
