How to Clean the Washing Machine Tub

Next, add a liter of bleach to remove stubborn stains, then pour the bleach through the dispenser so that it can mix well with the hot water, then let the washing machine run the normal wash cycle.
If the tub starts to smell like bleach, fill it with hot water and pour in a quart of vinegar once the cycle is complete. Let it sit for about an hour, then run the wash cycle more than once until the bleach smell disappears completely.
After that, clean the rubber door seal. This area is particularly prone to mold formation, as water is often trapped inside the gasket itself. Use an all-purpose cleaner and a terry towel to clean under and around the seal.
At this point, clean the dispenser, making sure that the dispensers from which you usually add the liquid and powder detergent are free of hair and other debris that could end up in the tub. Use a universal detergent or a solution of water and vinegar to remove all traces of detergent, dirt, and anything else that could clog the dispenser with the sponge.
Cleaning the washing machine tub should be done on average once a month. But the correct use of the washing machine helps to prevent the formation of dirt and mold.
